FoS Celebrates Top Graduation Projects

The Faculty of Sciences (FoS) at Al Maaref University (MU) held the closing ceremony for the presentation of graduation projects for the Fall 2025/2026 semester. During the event, the top graduation projects in the Computer Science Department were announced. The ceremony took place on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the university campus in Beirut, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Fouad Al-Hajj Hassan, along with a number of students and instructors.

The competition included 45 projects, with the participation of 90 students. The winning teams, who received financial awards, were as follows:

First Place: Malak Hussein Al-Yatama and Nour Al-Zahraa Hussein Shaheen
Second Place: Ali Fawaz Alayyan, Mohammad Ali Rahhal, and Mahdi Fawzi Alayyan
Third Place: Maya Hassan Nakad and Somaya Hisham Saad
Fourth Place: Nour Hassan Merei and Maryam Mohammad Morsel

During the ceremony, the Head of the Department, Dr. El Abed El Safadi, delivered a speech in which he praised the students’ efforts and the quality of their projects. He emphasized the importance of the project topics in serving the community and enhancing teamwork among students.

Dr. El Safadi also expressed his appreciation to the students and their supervising instructors for their dedication throughout their academic journey, stressing the importance of maintaining this level of excellence and creativity.

At the conclusion of the event, the Faculty presented certificates of appreciation to the winners.
