We, The Faculty of Engineering at Al Maaref University, are committed to providing a solid foundation in the areas of engineering within a hands-on, experiential learning environment in small classes, and in our resourceful and state-of-the-art labs so our graduates are applications focused and determined to reach the highest peaks of success!

In addition, we are honored to be working with a team of University’s lecturers and professors who are dedicated to delivering the best of their assets and expertise, besides that they are continuously pursuing scholarly research in countless areas of engineering and Science.

The Faculty of Engineering at Al Maaref University was established to serve the needs of individuals dedicated to making a difference in our country and the region. We aim to graduate talented, educated engineers who will be dedicated to conducting high-quality research, developing revolutionary technologies, and spreading technical knowledge.

We are committed to becoming a leading research-intensive engineering faculty, serving as an economic driver and workforce developer for our nation and the world.

Our faculty will diligently pursue its aspirations and translate its vision into tangible actions. We accomplish this by offering contemporary and rigorous educational experiences that nurture successful engineers. Our environment promotes personal commitment to students' educational success in an atmosphere that values ethics and hard work.

Mission Statement:

The Faculty of Engineering (FoE) is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive and exceptional scholastic experience to excel in their careers, become creative leaders and mentors in an ever-challenging world, and to advance and apply knowledge through research and scholarly activities. We are committed to serving society, our nation, and the engineering profession.

Main Objectives:

  1. To generate graduates with technical competencies.
  2. To apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.
  3. To identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.
  4. To design and conduct experiments, including the analysis and interpretation of data.
  5. To design a system, component or process to meet desired needs.
  6. To use techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
  7. To produce graduates who lead responsively and creatively in the discovery of new knowledge and transforming inventions and technologies.
  8. To help create a better future for all people through the application of innovative ideas and resources and the solution of important and complex global problems.
