كلمة العميد

في كلية الإعلام والفنون في جامعة المعترف، نحن لسنا مجرد صناع مستقبل الإعلام؛ بل نحن رواد يعيدون تعريفه.

نحن نهتم بتمهيد الطريق لطلّابنا ليكونوا المبتكرين والمفكرين الرائدين في عالم الإعلام والفنون. كما اننا نعتمد على تطوير مهاراتهم الأكاديمية وتحفيزهم لمواجهة التحديات العملية بجرأة وإبداع.

شعارنا هو "NEXT":

مع NEXT كشعار لنا، نلتزم بالتفوق والابتكار في مجال الإعلام والتواصل. نقدم برامج فريدة وننظم مؤتمرات أكاديمية وفعاليات تشجع على التفكير الإبداعي وتعزز حلولاً ديناميكية لمشاكل المجتمع. من خلال التعاون مع القطاع الخاص واستخدام التكنولوجيا المتقدمة، نساعد طلابنا على تطوير مهاراتهم والاستعداد لمواجهة تحديات العالم الرقمي.

مشروع "In Vitro" هو مثال على التزامنا بالتطوير والتقدم، حيث يتعاون طلابنا مع المحترفين لإنتاج محتوى إعلامي مبتكر يستكشف حدود الإمكان.

رسالة ورؤية الكليّة

بيان الرسالة:

في كلية الإعلام والفنون، نؤمن بدعم مجتمع مبتكر وديناميكي يضم طلابًا وموظفين ومحترفين ملتزمين بتعزيز الابتكار والتميز. نحن نسعى لتحقيق التنافسية في الأكاديميا وفي سوق العمل.

الرؤية:

تكمن رؤيتنا في زرع بيئة حيويّة حيث يزدهر التعاون ويتم تمكين كل فرد من إنتاج أعمال مبتكرة. نسعى في الكلية إلى استغلال الموارد الجماعية في جامعتنا والتفاعل مع شبكة أوسع من المحترفين، سواء محلياً في لبنان أو عالمياً، لتلهمنا الإبداع ونحقّق التغيير الإيجابي.

الأهداف:

1. تطوير خريجين مجهزين بمهارات متقدمة وكفاءات فنية في تقنيات وممارسات الإعلام الجماهيري ، باستخدام المعرفة في نظريات الإعلام ومبادئ الاتصال والتطورات التكنولوجية.

2. تحليل وصياغة وحل التحدّيات المعقدة للتواصل في سياقات مختلفة، وتصميم وتنفيذ حملات تواصل استراتيجية وإنتاج وسائط، مع استخدام تحليل البيانات للتحسين.

3. استخدام الأدوات والتقنيات الحديثة ذات الصلة بالإعلام الجماهيري بكفاءة، وتعزيز الابتكار والإبداع في تشكيل المناظر الإعلامية وتقدم نظريات الاتصال.

4. تمكين الخريجين من القيادة بشكل ابداعي، والمساهمة في بناء مجتمع أفضل من خلال ممارسات التواصل الأخلاقية والمبتكرة، ومعالجة التحديات العالمية، وتعزيز التفاهم بين مجتمعات متنوعة.

أعضاء الكلّية

Dean of Faculty (DF):
The Faculty Dean represents the leadership of a collection of departments that may run each either a sole major or combination of majors. S/he is accounted as the leader, planner and manager of the strategic direction, organisational design, and steering of the academic and administrative processes related to all departments, majors, and professional and research centres operating in a faculty. Students are less likely to have frequent contacts with the Dean. However, s/he is ready to discuss any issues which are not yet resolved by the Assistant Dean.

Assistant Dean (AD):
The position entails working with the Dean to lead the faculty’s vision and strategy, deputising on all matters that involve strategic development and operational management. The Assistant Dean ensures that majors of study offered by the faculty comply with the standards of quality assurance and enhancement as well as oversees and coordinates the development of the Faculty’s Learning and Teaching Strategy and curriculum development. Should there be any issue that the Chair of the Majors cannot resolve, it is expected that your case will be referred to the Assistant Dean who will deal with it.

Chair of Major Areas (CMA)
The Chair of the Major Area (CMA) acts as a leader of the program in a particular major area offered by the Faculty. The CMA safeguards compliance with the Faculty policy and represents the interests of the courses and major panel on the Faculty Board Team (FBT). The Chair of Major Area discharges some administrative tasks to fulfil the departmental objectives. S/he may also involve in conducting lectures and seminars for students as well as the development and implementation of annual curriculum and extracurricular activities. The CMAs are not in a position to deal with initial student problems directly. Such a duty resides with Course Instructor and/or Courses Coordinator.

Courses Coordinator (CC):
The CC works with the Heads of the Major Area and administrators, undertaking the daily charge of the courses and student matters on behalf of the Faculty.S/He acts to advise and officiate on day-to-day student matters and to represent the academic and collegial interests of the course.

Course Instructor (CI):
The Course Instructor (CI) is the person who delivers an assigned course and is responsible for the overall operation of it in any of the Semesters taking place in an academic year. You may have the same CI for more than one course per semester or over an academic year.

Teaching Assistant (TA):
For those courses that are credit-bearing, you may have a Teaching Assistant, allocated by the Courses Coordinator, to work with you and your classmates on the content of the lectures that are already delivered by the Course Instructor in a previous lecture. There are circumstances when you may have the Course Instructor taking the role of the Teaching Assistant.

Peer Tutor (PTu)
The peer tutor is a type of collegial form of support undertaken by one of your classmates who is competent in the area that you may need help in. It is a form of peer engagement with academic study. If the Course Instructor has not identified a peer tutor for you, you are expected to follow it up with her/him until this is been arranged.
