The Vice President of the University plays a pivotal role in overseeing academic affairs, ensuring the quality of the educational process, and addressing students' academic and scientific needs. They serve as a vital link between the university administration, colleges, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and academic centers, and collaborate with deans and faculty members to build a modern and effective academic environment.

Among the key important tasks undertaken by the university's vice president are:

• Overseeing the overall academic performance of the university in collaboration with the deans, and monitoring the educational process to ensure the quality of programs and services provided to students.

• Overseeing faculty affairs (contracting, promotion, evaluation, etc.) in accordance with approved policies, ensuring the attraction, retention, and continuous development of qualified faculty.

• Supervising student assessment mechanisms, monitoring exam results, and proposing improvements on a regular basis.

• Contributing to the development of academic policies and systems and proposing plans and programs to improve academic performance.

• Proposing academic and research partnerships and agreements with national and international universities and institutions.

• Participating in the development of academic and research plans and programs, ensuring their alignment with quality standards and keeping pace with emerging knowledge and technologies, as well as the needs of students and the job market.
