Dear Al Maaref University Family,
I warmly welcome you to your University, Al Maaref University.
Today, with pride and honor, we stand together to reflect on a ten-year journey filled with dedication and excellence. During the past decade, the University went through significant milestones of growth, development, and resilience in the face of challenges, until it has become a distinguished academic institution, hosting thousands of students and comprising seven faculties and thirty-eight specializations. The degree programs offer specialized educational fields that meet the modern age and cater to the needs of the society and the nation as a whole.
At the heart of this excellence, the student is indeed the central focus of Al Maaref. Our University provides a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment that nurtures students academically, intellectually, psychologically, and socially, taking into account the financial challenges they are facing. We also instill in our students the belief that knowledge alone can be misleading without ethics and that true education goes beyond intellectual development to include human values like honesty, justice, integrity, and respect for human dignity.
Al Maaref University takes pride in its academic and administrative staff, who with great devotion and high degree of professionalism take on the responsibility of passing on the education message to the students, achieving the University’s goals in leadership and innovation carrying out the university’s mission of serving humanity and shaping life.
In its first ten years, the University achieved remarkable milestones: it set up a firm basis for a distinguished academic standing, adhered to the laws of higher education in Lebanon, respected academic and administrative quality standards, established partnerships and collaborations, kept pace with technological advances and the digital revolution, founded specialized research centers, and organized international conferences and intellectual and scientific symposia. The University also made a strong presence in community initiatives.
Today, we announce the start of a new phase in the university’s educational journey as we are officially licensed to offer Master’s programs, thus strengthening the University’s role as a center of intellectual and academic excellence in Lebanon and the region. Meanwhile, we are still in the process of building the main University campus in Beirut, obtaining licenses for regional branches, and launching new specializations and Master’s programs in various faculties .
